The Nigeria Health Watch, in partnership with MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices, trains 20 journalists across South West and South South states in Benin, the Edo State capital, on solutions journalism and how to report sexual and reproductive health stories.
The 5 days of training began on Monday, 27 July 2026, and had engaging sessions on the pillars of solutions journalism and mobile journalism.
The trainings, which drew engaging conversation among participants, had in attendance the Commission for Health of Edo State, Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole, who commended the organizers for being proactive while charging participants to be objective in their reportage.
