Hit FM Calabar has emerged winner of the Best Radio Show (English) category at the Nigeria Broadcasting Awards for the second consecutive year.
In a statement, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the station, Patrick Igbe, expressed appreciation to the team behind the scenes and reaffirmed the station’s commitment to raising the standard of broadcasting.
“At Hit FM, we are more than a radio station,” the statement read.
The award, presented by the Broadcasting Organizations of Nigeria (BON), recognizes excellence in broadcasting as judged by industry professionals, making the honor even more remarkable.
This year, the station’s Top 10 Countdown Show, hosted by Duke Emmanuel, popularly known as “The Duke of Life,” bagged the award. This follows last year’s win by Tell Your Story, hosted by Quinesta.
