The Cross River State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), Alphonsus Eba, Esq, JP, on Thursday received and welcomed the former Speaker of the State House of Assembly and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon. John Gaul, to the APC, at the State Party Secretariat, Calabar

The State Chairman in his remarks said Hon. John Gaul is a great political asset to the state and a good value addition to the Abi Local Government Chapter of the Party.

Earlier, Rt Hon. John Gaul mentioned in his speech that he was inspired by the dynamic and creative governance model of the state Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu and his administration, especially in developing a Non-Oil Export Sector and Service Economy Hub for Cross River State in Agriculture, Industries, Tourism and infrastructure development.

The former speaker, who was presented with a copy of the APC Constitution as amended and a bunch of broom, which is the party’s symbol, was at the party’s secretariat with his teeming supporters.
